Youth program |

A substance abuse program for Chiniki youth providing activities and workshops throughout the year. Seasonal activities include ski/snowboarding trips in the winter and camping/fishing, etc. in the summer.

Another substance abuse program for Chiniki Youth provides training and guidance for our youth towards a healthier lifestyle. Although this program is more targeted towards families who are in more need than others.Some of the services provided with this program includes everything from singing lessons to early parenthood training.

Chiniki Temporary Employment Program |

Employment and job development training for youth and adults is an ongoing priority for our community. Through the Chiniki Temporary Employment Program (CTEP), Community Action Program (CAP) and Housing Department, we provide summer youth employment projects, adult pre-employment training and skills development programs.

The Chiniki First Nation is continuing to develop partnerships with post secondary learning institutions that can provide our band members with local education learning opportunities.
