Chiniki Cultural Centre

The Chiniki Cultural Centre is a welcoming space dedicated to sharing the history, traditions and living culture of the Îyârhe Nakoda (Stoney Nakoda) people. Through cultural displays, historical exhibits and locally crafted items, the Centre offers visitors an opportunity to learn more about the Nation’s stories, teachings and enduring connection to the land.

Situated inside Smitty’s Family Restaurant in Mînî Thnî, Alberta, the Centre invites both community members and travellers to pause, reflect and deepen their understanding of Chiniki heritage while passing through the Bow Valley region.
